2026/27 Tuition and Studio Policies:

Academy Policies

All students must agree to tuition policies, photo waiver, and behavior policy. All registration will be done virtually through your student/family portal via online registration. Tuition

Monthly Installments:

Your 1st payment is charged automatically (credit card auto charge) at the time of registration. Each subsequent monthly fee will be charged via autopay on the following schedule: on the 28th of each month until April 28th, 2026.

Late Fee of $15 will be applied if unpaid as of the 10th of the month. Returned Check Fee- A $35 fee will be assessed.

Winter Show Fee: Classes enrolled in a Winter Show class will be charged a one-time $50 per class fee. This fee is non-refundable.

Pay In Full Option:

We offer a 5% discount for families who would like to pay for their full semester tuition. Please email our admin team at info@evolutiondancemaui.com to pay for your semester fee in full.

Fall 2025 Semester Enrollment, Drop, and Missed Classes Policies:

Class enrollment is season-based from August 4th, 2025 to May 23rd, 2026. Students attending our Fall semester (Aug 4- Dec 20, 2025) may make changes to their Spring semester (Jan 5- May 23, 2026) enrollment no later than December 15th, 2025. Enrollment rolls through from the Fall semester to the Spring, so there is no re-registration between semesters.

We need written notice no later than the 15th of the month when dropping a class. Please see the detailed drop policy below:

Drop Policy:

Within first 2 weeks of semester: Full refunds less a $25 drop fee (+ any class taken/passed)

Within 3-4 weeks of semester: Tuition credits toward other Evolution classes (less a $25 drop fee + classes taken/passed) good for one full year.

5+ weeks into semester: NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be issued after the first four weeks of the semester and you will incur the standard $25 drop fee.

If on the monthly installment tuition plan, we need written notice no later than the 15th of the month when dropping a class.

In the event that Evolution cancels a class, a refund less the classes taken will be issued. If an injury necessitates missing classes for two weeks or more, accounts may be credited upon submission of a physician's note.

Missed classes:

Missed classes may be made up during the current semester ONLY. Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are on a space-available basis. We do not prorate for missed classes.

Spring 2026 Semester Tuition Policies:

All of the above policies for Fall with the exception of the drop fee for performing classes. For students enrolled in a performing class, there is a $75 drop fee if dropping after January 15th, 2026.

New enrollments (students who did not attend Fall semester IN FULL) will incur a $50 non refundable recital costume fee.

Camp Tuition Policies:

Payment is due in full upon registration. A withdrawal from the camp and/or Discover Dance 6-week session after payment is rendered is subject to a $25 withdrawal fee. Tuition refunds and credits are subject to the following limitations:

Students withdrawing at least 7 days before camp begins will receive a tuition refund less the $25 withdrawal fee.

Students withdrawing 3-6 days before camp begins will receive a tuition credit less the $25 fee. Credit may be used towards tuition for Evolution programs up to one year from the date of issuance.

No credits or refunds will be given to students withdrawing less than 72 hours before camp begins or after camp has begun.

Photo Waiver:

Evolution Dance Academy reserves the right to use any photos & videos taken of the student(s) in all promotional material including, but not limited to, Evolution's website, publications or advertising.

Observation:

We currently do not offer parent observation on a weekly basis. A parent observation week will be scheduled during the semester.

Studio Rules and Behavior Policy:

At Evolution, we believe that a safe, positive learning environment is essential for effective learning in the arts. Our teaching artists make every effort to create an atmosphere of trust, cooperation and respect. With the support of home, school and community, we believe that every student is capable of taking responsibility for their own behavior and making choices that are respectful and safe.

Please arrive 10 minutes before class to be let into class on time. Bring a water bottle to help stay hydrated during class. All shoes worn on the dance floor must be clean and put on once in class. Be mindful of other students, possibly younger than you, and watch your language. Never leave belongings unattended; bring all things into the studio with you. Please turn cell phones off or put them on silent when in class. Talking is allowed in class when asking or answering questions, participating in group conversations/activities. If a student chooses to disregard the instructions of a teaching artist or person in charge, put another student or self in physical danger, put another student in emotional danger, or break any conditions in a contract signed by the student the following disciplinary course of action will ensue: first infraction - verbal warning; second infraction - meeting with student, parent or guardian(s) and staff member(s); third infraction - immediate removal from the program (no refunds). Evolution teachers and staff have the discretionary authority to remove a student if a disciplinary issue arises.

Evolution's Parking Policy:

Guardians/students should arrive 15-20 mins before class to find parking in designated parking areas and have time to walk to 2050 Main St. No parking is allowed in the 2050 Main St parking lot.

Release Of Liability

2026/27 Release of Liability: Evolution Dance Academy

I, as the participant, or the parent or legal guardian of the participant, and my heirs, in consideration of my or my child's participation in the Evolution Dance Academy classes hereby release Evolution Dance Academy, its officers, employees and agents, and any other people officially connected with the academy program, from any and all liability for damage to or loss of their person, personal property, sickness or injury from whatever source including COVID 19, death, or loss of money, which might occur while participating in the academy program. Specifically, I release Evolution Dance Academy and said persons from any liability or responsibility for my or my child's/ children's physical condition and for the presence or actions of any other participants. I am aware of the risks of participation and I understand that participation in this program is strictly voluntary and I freely chose to participate and/or have my child/children participate. I agree to indemnify Evolution Dance Academy for any violation of this agreement. I understand that Evolution Dance Academy does not provide medical coverage for me or my child/children. I verify that I will be responsible for any medical costs I incur because of my or my child's/children's participation.
